Combined with previously leaked information, it can be confirmed that the top-end version of the iPhone 18 Pro Max will be the first to launch the A20 and will be equipped with 12GB of memory. As for the iPhone 18, according to Apple’s differentiation strategy, it may miss out on 2nm and 12GB of memory.
As a major customer of TSMC for many years, Apple has always been an early adopter of advanced process technology, including 7nm, 5nm, 3nm and other process technologies, and the 2nm process technology will be no exception.
It is reported that TSMC will mass-produce 2nm process by the end of next year. Apple has booked all the production capacity of TSMC’s 2nm process in the initial stage of mass production.
