iQOO Z11 series network access approved: LCD screen + Snapdragon 7 series

The iQOO Z11 series has officially obtained network access permission. The series includes two models, iQOO Z11 and iQOO Z11X, with the internal model number V2551A.

The highly anticipated iQOO Z11X features a 6.76-inch LCD high refresh rate screen with FHD+ resolution. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen4 platform, it’s considered iQOO’s flagship LCD phone specifically designed for the budget-friendly segment in 2026.

Compared to the currently mainstream OLED panels, one of the biggest advantages of LCD screens is their eye-friendliness. This screen reportedly uses native DC dimming technology, which directly adjusts the backlight current to change screen brightness. This method avoids the high-frequency flickering found in some screens, making it more eye-friendly. This is a major reason why many LCD users have long adhered to this platform.

However, because LCD screens must include a backlight module, their overall thickness is typically greater than that of OLED panels. Furthermore, they inherently do not support in-display fingerprint recognition and are completely incompatible with the under-display camera technology that may become a future trend. For these reasons, OLED has gradually become the mainstream choice for mid-to-high-end smartphones.

Due to this technical limitation, the iQOO Z11X cannot implement in-screen fingerprint functionality. It is expected that the phone will adopt a more mature and stable side-mounted fingerprint recognition solution.

In terms of core performance, it is equipped with the Snapdragon 7s Gen4, a mid-range chip manufactured using a 4-nanometer process. Compared to its predecessor, its CPU performance is improved by 7%, and its GPU graphics rendering speed is also improved by 7%.

The platform also supports on-device generative AI and introduces the new Adaptive Frame Motion Engine 3.0. Through Snapdragon Gaming Super Resolution technology, the iQOO Z11X can upscale game scenes to 4K resolution, bringing a superior e-sports experience to budget-friendly smartphone users.
