Leaked design of REDMI Turbo 6 Max: Horizontal camera module resembles iPhone Air

Fast Technology reported that blogger Digital Chat Station revealed the design of the REDMI Turbo 6 Max. The phone features a 7-inch 2K flat screen on the front and a horizontally positioned camera module on the back, with an overall design reminiscent of the iPhone Air, emphasizing a simple and timeless aesthetic.

Compared to its predecessor, the Turbo 5 Max, the Turbo 6 Max boasts a 7-inch screen, up from 6.83 inches, and a 2K resolution, making it REDMI’s first 7-inch 2K giant-screen phone. The larger size and higher resolution screen deliver a comprehensive upgrade in everyday

Firstly, in terms of audio-visual experience, the 7-inch screen offers a larger display area, resulting in clearer subtitles and image details. The immersive viewing experience is significantly better than other models, making it especially suitable for binge-watching TV series and movies. Secondly, regarding the gaming experience, the larger screen means a wider field of view and more precise control space. The wider button spacing effectively reduces the probability of accidental touches, and the operating experience in competitive games is closer to that of a handheld console.

Finally, regarding reading, the large screen allows text and images to be presented in a more spacious manner. Even with larger font sizes, the page remains clean, with more information per page and significantly fewer page turns. Large-screen phones, with their tablet-like user experience, are becoming the optimal solution for balancing portability and immersion.

In addition, the device will also be equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9 series flagship platform, which is expected to be either the Dimensity 9500s or the Dimensity 9600s. It is a near-flagship platform under MediaTek, manufactured based on TSMC’s 3nm process.

Moreover, its battery capacity reaches the 10,000mAh level, making it the first phone in the Turbo series with a 10,000mAh-level large battery. Its battery life performance is worth looking forward to, and the new product will be officially launched as early as the first quarter of next year.
