REDMI Turbo 6 Max renders revealed: iconic horizontal camera module reminiscent of the iPhone Air.

Fast Technology reported that a blogger has created a render of the REDMI Turbo 6 Max based on leaked information. The phone features the signature horizontal camera module, and its overall design closely resembles the iPhone Air, with a minimalist style and high recognizability.

It features a 7-inch 2K flat screen on the front, making it the largest screen model in the history of the REDMI Turbo series. The new product is expected to be officially released in the first quarter of 2027.

Looking back at the history of Xiaomi’s large-screen products, as early as 2016, Xiaomi launched the Max series, a large-screen product line. The last model in this series was the Xiaomi Max 3, equipped with a 6.9-inch screen and a 5500mAh battery, achieving top-level performance in both large-screen experience and battery life. However, with the advent of the era of full-screen displays, the Max series ceased updates.

The REDMI Turbo 6 Max inherits the large-screen gene, further expanding the screen size to 7 inches. Compared to the regular 6.5-inch model, its effective display area is increased by approximately 20%, resulting in a more immersive experience when watching videos and movies. At the same time, the larger text and icons reduce eye strain when browsing news feeds or reading e-books for extended periods, making it very user-friendly for heavy content consumers.

A larger screen also means higher information processing efficiency. When running two apps in split-screen mode, the interface doesn’t feel cramped, and viewing documents or working on spreadsheets doesn’t require frequent zooming and dragging. While maintaining the portability of a mobile phone, the larger screen balances the efficiency of light office work and content creation, expanding the boundaries of everyday usage scenarios.

Furthermore, the larger body provides more internal space, accommodating a larger capacity battery and a more sophisticated heat dissipation module, resulting in longer battery life. In MOBA and shooting mobile games, the larger screen not only expands the game’s field of view but also increases the spacing between virtual buttons, effectively reducing accidental touches and making the gaming experience smoother.

In terms of hardware configuration, the REDMI Turbo 6 Max will be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9 series flagship platform, a built-in 10000mAh super-large battery, and pre-installed with the Surge OS 4 system. As a continuation of the large-screen product line, it is expected to provide users with a more comprehensive experience in multiple scenarios such as audio-visual entertainment, gaming, and daily use.
