Fast Technology reported that the vivo X500 series has officially obtained network access permission, model number V2609A. This phone has also registered several AI models, including the self-developed BlueHeart model, Zhipu AI, Wenxin Yiyan, Doubao model, DeepSeek, and Tongyi Qianwen, providing users with a rich selection of AI services covering various scenarios such as daily office work, creative work, and search.
According to a blogger, the vivo X500 series will come pre-installed with OriginOS 7. The new system emphasizes proactive AI capabilities, enabling it to deeply understand user commands and efficiently complete tasks, resulting in more intelligent and convenient interaction. OriginOS 7 will also feature a brand-new liquid glass UI and light field rendering engine, and support customizable themes, significantly improving both the interface’s visual appeal and the smoothness of interaction.
In terms of product line layout, another major change in the vivo X500 series is the addition of the Pro Max version. vivo will simultaneously launch three flagship models: the vivo X500, vivo X500 Pro, and vivo X500 Pro Max, covering a wider range of market demands.
This series will be the first to feature the Dimensity 9600 Pro chip, manufactured using TSMC’s 2nm process, and is MediaTek’s most powerful mobile SoC to date. In terms of specifications, the Dimensity 9600 Pro features two ARM C2-Ultra super cores (clocked at approximately 5GHz), three C2-Premium cores, and three C2-Pro mid cores, forming a new tri-cluster architecture that balances peak performance with energy efficiency.
Meanwhile, the chip supports the latest LPDDR6 memory and UFS 5.0 flash memory, which will achieve a qualitative leap in data transfer speed and application loading efficiency, providing a solid hardware foundation for multitasking and large-scale games.
In terms of imaging, the vivo X500 series will be the first to feature Sony’s new generation image sensor, the LYTIA L910. This sensor boasts a large 1/1.28-inch sensor area, 50 million effective pixels, and a single pixel size of 1.22 micrometers, giving it stronger light sensitivity in low-light environments.
In addition, the sensor is equipped with the new LOFIC technology, which will produce a more realistic light and shadow effect when shooting bright extreme scenes such as light boxes, and the bright areas in the picture will hardly have serious overexposure or loss of detail.
The new flagship will be officially released in September, at which time more details will be revealed.
