Lossless resolution! TCL CSOT releases the world’s first Real Stripe RGB OLED mobile phone display.

Fast Technology reported that TCL CSOT recently unveiled a demo of the world’s first Real Stripe RGB OLED mobile phone display.

The screen is 5.65 inches in size and uses high-precision OLED printing technology, with a PPI of 390 and a visually equivalent diamond arrangement of 490 PPI, which can present a more refined visual effect.

This is the same technology used in this year’s Xiaomi 17 Pro Max and REDMI K90/K90 Pro Max.

By arranging all RGB pixels independently, the challenge of high PPI and low yield in the OLED field has been overcome, completely eliminating the “pixel sharing” problem, and each sub-pixel can emit light precisely.

Each pixel has its own independent red, green, and blue sub-pixels, which means that, unlike traditional OLEDs, it does not need to constantly borrow from adjacent sub-pixels.

The Super Pixel screen used in the Xiaomi 17 series was provided by TCL CSOT, and the two companies collaborated to develop this new technology.

It ensures a total number of subpixels comparable to traditional 2K screens and ultra-clear display effects, while reducing power consumption by 26% compared to traditional solutions, achieving a dual breakthrough in display accuracy and energy efficiency.

Based on current user feedback, Xiaomi’s SuperPixel screen has received high praise. TCL’s newly released Real Stripe RGB OLED mobile phone display should be adopted by more manufacturers in the future, bringing users a clearer and lower power consumption screen experience.
