REDMI Turbo 4 Pro was officially released this evening, and the price after national subsidies starts at 1,699.15 yuan.
Wang Teng said that this is the first press conference after Xiaomi’s 15th anniversary. He hopes to create a quasi-flagship that most users can afford, which is good-looking and powerful , and challenges the rare no-shortcomings experience in the same class with Pro standards.
As the most powerful model in the Turbo series, Turbo 4 Pro is the world’s first launch of the fourth-generation Snapdragon 8s. It adopts TSMC’s 4nm process technology. It is not only equipped with a full-large core architecture, but also fully inherits the Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition in nine core capabilities, making the fourth-generation Snapdragon 8s achieve a major leap in both performance and power consumption. It is internally codenamed “Little Extreme”.
It is reported that the fourth-generation Snapdragon 8s adopts 1*Cortex-X4 3.21GHz+3*Cortex-A720 3.01GHz+2*Cortex-A720 2.8GHz+2*Cortex-A720 2.01GHz full-large core architecture. Compared with the previous generation, the full-large core can complete computing tasks in a shorter time and enter a low-power sleep state, avoiding the energy waste caused by long-term and inefficient operation of small cores.
In order to unleash the ultimate performance of the fourth-generation Snapdragon 8s, Turbo 4 Pro uses Xiaomi’s largest 6000 square millimeter dual-loop 3D ice-sealed circulating cold pump in history. The innovative boss design not only allows the circulating cold pump to directly contact the core heat source and improve the heat dissipation capacity, but also effectively increases the distance between the heat source and the screen, avoiding the formation of concentrated high-temperature points on the side of the screen, affecting the grip.
In terms of core configuration, REDMI Turbo 4 Pro uses a 6.83-inch customized 1.5K straight screen, a 20-megapixel front camera, a 50-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera on the rear, a built-in 7550mAh battery, and supports 90W fast charging.
In other aspects, Turbo 4 Pro also supports IP66, IP68, and IP69 full-level waterproof, and with wet hand touch 2.0, it can be easily operated regardless of water or oil. It also supports dual-frequency GPS and triple-frequency Beidou, which can achieve faster satellite search and positioning and more accurate trajectory tracking.
