OPPO A5/A5 Vitality Edition officially announced: opening a new era of waterproof performance

OPPO announced that it will release OPPO A5 and OPPO A5 Vitality Edition at 14:30 on March 18, ushering in a new era of full-level waterproofness for thousand-yuan phones.

According to the official introduction, OPPO A5 and OPPO A5 Vitality Edition both support IP69, IP68, and IP66 waterproof certifications, and are resistant to water splashing, water spraying, and hot water.

It is reported that the “6” in IP68 represents the dustproof level of the device, and the “8” represents the waterproof level of the device, which means that the device has the ability to prevent water splashing. The “9” in the IP69 level means that the device can withstand high-pressure and high-temperature water flow and can resist the invasion of hot water.

Currently, the two models have been listed on OPPO’s official website and are accepting reservations. The OPPO A5 standard version adopts a circular camera DECO design with a right-angled middle frame. It is available in three colors: blue, pink and black, and in four colors: 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB.

The OPPO A5 Vitality Edition uses the matrix camera DECO. The middle frame also has a right-angle edge design and is fully waterproof.
