OPPO plans to develop magnetic suction ecosystem: magnetic suction phone case + wireless charging

 according to blogger Digital Chat Station, OPPO is actively developing a magnetic suction ecosystem .

Due to patent restrictions, mobile phones cannot directly adopt true magnetic wireless charging technology, so OPPO will adopt the method of magnetic mobile phone case + wireless charging.

In addition, OPPO is also preparing a variety of mobile phone accessories, including magnetic heat dissipation back clips, and will launch these accessories on new phones from OPPO and OnePlus.

At present, OPPO already has some product accessories that support magnetic suction for sale in its official mall, such as the OPPO Reno12 Aurora back card magnetic protective case.

This protective case has a built-in magnetic ring with a magnetic force of 11N. It is compatible with a variety of magnetic accessories, such as magnetic mobile phone holders, magnetic liquid cooling radiators, etc., but it does not currently support wireless charging function.

In addition, both OPPO and OnePlus plan to launch their latest flagship models by the end of 2024.

The OPPO Find X8 series is expected to be released in October, equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor. The standard version will be equipped with a small-size OLED straight screen, while the Pro version may be equipped with two periscope telephoto cameras and a built-in 6500mAh battery.

OnePlus 13 is expected to be released in November this year. It will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen4 processor, an iso-depth curved screen with a 2K resolution, and a large-capacity silicon negative electrode high-density battery of more than 6000mAh.
