The blogger also previously revealed that OPPO was unable to implement built-in magnetic wireless charging due to patent restrictions, so it adopted a combination of a magnetic mobile phone case and a wireless charger.
In addition to supporting the magnetic suction ecosystem, the entire OPPO Find X8 series will also use the Glacier Battery, which uses a new generation of silicon-carbon negative electrode battery technology to greatly increase the lithium ion content in the battery and increase the battery energy density to 763Wh/L. At the same time, the Glacier Battery also achieves the industry’s highest 6% negative electrode silicon-carbon content.
In addition, the previously exposed side renderings of the body show that the new OPPO Find X8 series phone will have three physical buttons on the side. In addition to the conventional power button and volume button, there will be a new independent camera button, which also shows that OPPO Find X8 will focus on strengthening imaging.
It is reported that OPPO Find X8 is equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera + 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle + 3x periscope telephoto, and Find X8 Pro is equipped with dual periscope lenses, bringing the number of lenses to four.
The OPPO Find X8 series has also made improvements to the design of the rear lens module, adopting a large disc design with the lenses arranged in a cross shape, and the iconic “H” logo in the center of the collaboration with Hasselblad.
OPPO Find X8 and OPPO Find X8 Pro are equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor and are expected to be released in October 2024.
OPPO Find X8 Ultra is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen4 processor and is expected to be released in the first quarter of 2025.
