REDMI K100 Specifications Revealed: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5 + SuperPixel Screen

According to Fast Technology on May 22, blogger Smart Pikachu revealed that the REDMI K100 will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5, and it is even possible that both models will be equipped with this chip, maintaining its positioning in the 3000-4000 yuan price range.

Given the current industry context, a price increase for this new phone is inevitable. As a flagship model focused on high sales volume, the K series will naturally have to make some trade-offs. However, sources suggest that the price increase will be lower than that of competing products in the same segment.

The REDMI K100 series will retain the SuperPixel screen of its predecessor, which will become a standard feature of Xiaomi flagship phones in the future. It achieves 2K resolution through true RGB arrangement, but consumes less power than the traditional 1.5K screen.

As for size, the standard K100 continues its mid-size positioning with a 6.6-inch screen, while the Pro Max remains a large 6.9-inch screen.

With the price increase, other configurations of the K100 series are also expected to be upgraded. Currently, the entire series is testing a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, and the Pro Max version has even tested a 200-megapixel main camera, which will create the strongest imaging system in the history of the K series.

The current prototype is equipped with an 8500mAh battery, but we are still trying to increase the capacity. In terms of charging, it not only supports 100W wired fast charging, but also adds 50W wireless fast charging, aiming to match high-end flagship models.
