REDMI Turbo 5 has been filed: the world’s first Dimensity 8500

Blogger Digital Chat Station revealed that REDMI Turbo 5 has been registered, model number 2511FRT34C, and the new product will be launched in Q4 this year.

This phone is the world’s first to launch the Dimensity 8500. This chip is built based on TSMC’s 4nm process, adopts Arm’s full-core architecture, integrates the Mali-G720 GPU, and has an AnTuTu score of over 2 million points.

In December last year, REDMI Turbo 4 was first equipped with the Dimensity 8400 series chip. It uses the same full-core architecture as the flagship, with a CPU frequency of up to 3.25GHz and an AnTuTu score of around 1.8 million points.

This time, the performance of the Dimensity 8500 chip has reached a new high. It is the most powerful 8-series chip under MediaTek. Its AnTuTu score has further narrowed the gap with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3 platform, and the latter’s AnTuTu score is around 2.3 million points.

As usual, REDMI Turbo 5 is positioned as a high-performance, long-lasting phone. The phone will feature a 1.5K straight screen, a built-in large-capacity battery, and may also be equipped with a metal middle frame.

In addition to REDMI, Honor, Ouga (OPPO, OnePlus and Realme), and Blue Factory (vivo and iQOO) will most likely use this chip, and the price of related terminals is expected to be around 2,000 yuan.
