REDMI Turbo 5 joins the network: the world’s first Dimensity 8500

Xiaomi’s new phone with model number 2511FRT34C has recently passed the radio approval of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and is expected to be REDMI Turbo 5.

According to previous reports, REDMI Turbo 5 will debut in Q4 this year and will be the world’s first to launch MediaTek Dimensity 8500. This chip is built on TSMC’s 4nm process, adopts Arm’s full-core architecture, and integrates Mali-G720 GPU. The AnTuTu running score is set at more than 2 million points, and the overall score is close to Snapdragon 8 Gen3.

In addition to performance upgrades, REDMI Turbo 5 will also be upgraded to a metal middle frame + large R corner design, which greatly improves the texture and is comparable to Pro.

The screen is still a 6.6-inch 1.5K solution, the overall appearance is still a minimalist design, and it is expected to maintain dual cameras.

The phone will also be equipped with a large-capacity battery of over 7000mAh, and its battery life will be significantly improved.

REDMI Turbo 4 was released in January this year. It features a 6.67-inch 1.5K straight screen, a 20-megapixel front camera, and a 50-megapixel main camera + 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera on the back.

The core is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra, built-in 6550mAh Xiaomi Jinshajiang battery, supports 90W fast charging, and can be charged to 100% in 45 minutes.

In addition, Turbo 4 also supports IP66&IP68&IP69 dust and water resistance, tri-band Beidou + dual-frequency GPS, and is equipped with Surge OS 2 system.
