REDMI Turbo 5 Pro Confirmed for Launch Before Chinese New Year:

Digital blogger “Digital Chat Station” revealed today that various brands will release their sub-series mid-range phones before the Spring Festival, all of which will feature Turbo technology.

The blogger stated that the REDMI Turbo 5 Pro is confirmed to be launched before the Spring Festival, and will be equipped with the only flagship chip in its class, specially tuned and fully cached, representing a significant leap in performance.

In addition, this phone also boasts the largest battery in its class from Xiaomi, plus 100W fast charging, and all the necessary peripheral features. It is marketed as a high-capacity device that can keep users entertained, and is positioned to compete in the 2500 yuan price range.

A netizen asked whether the REDMI Turbo 5 Pro uses the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 or the Dimensity 9 series processor. The blogger replied that Xiaomi will not use the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 for the time being .

It is understood that in 2025, Xiaomi will adjust its REDMI product strategy: the K series will be upgraded across the board, and Turbo will take over the 2K series.

In the future, the K series will be positioned as a “champion flagship”, which means that REDMI’s high-end flagship products will be further enhanced in terms of product strength.

The Turbo series is positioned as a “trendy performance mini-flagship,” fully inheriting the K series’ strong performance at a competitive price, and targeting the 2K price range.

It is reported that in addition to the Turbo 5 Pro, REDMI will also bring the Turbo 5, which will be the first to be equipped with the Dimensity 8500 chip, MediaTek’s most powerful Dimensity 8 series processor.
