Samsung Galaxy A37 & A57: Camera Specs Revealed

Samsung is expected to release two new mid range smartphones the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 in February 2026. These devices will be part of the A series which is designed to give users a balance of performance and value. According to rumors, both devices will come with newer and more powerful chipsets as well as improved cameras. A recent report has now shared more information specifically about the camera features that these new phones might have.

According to the latest report the Samsung Galaxy A37 is expected to come with a triple camera setup on the back. The main camera is rumored to be an upgraded 50 megapixel Sony IMX906 sensor which should improve picture quality significantly. However, Samsung might not use the same sensor in all countries. In some regions, the company could use its own S5KGNJ sensor for the main camera instead of the Sony IMX906. This means that the main camera could vary depending on the region where the phone is sold while still providing high quality photos.

The other two cameras on the back of the Galaxy A37 are expected to be similar to the ones found on the Galaxy A36. This includes an 8 megapixel GalaxyCore GC08A3 camera for ultra wide shots which is useful for capturing more of the scene in a single photo. The other is a 5 megapixel macro camera the GalaxyCore GC05A3 which allows for detailed close up shots. When it comes to selfies, the phone is expected to come with a 12 megapixel GalaxyCore GC12A2 front camera ensuring clear and sharp self-portraits.

The Samsung Galaxy A57 is expected to come with a main rear camera that uses a 50 megapixel Sony IMX906 sensor. However, in some regions Samsung might replace this with its own ISOCELL S5KGNJ sensor instead. Along with the main camera, the device is expected to include a 13MP ultrawide camera which uses the ISOCELL S5K3L6 sensor and a 5MP macro camera with the GalaxyCore GC05A3 sensor.

The Samsung Galaxy A57 is expected to feature a 12-megapixel front facing camera specifically the ISOCELL S5K3LC sensor which should take clear and detailed selfies. When it comes to pricing for related models the Samsung Galaxy A36 comes in two versions: the 128GB model with 6GB RAM is priced at roughly $359.99 (equivalent to €222.00) and the 256GB model with 8GB RAM costs about $434.99 (or €276.99). On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy A56 comes with slightly higher prices: the 128GB version with 8GB RAM is listed for about $499.99 (or €284.00) and the 256GB variant with 8GB of RAM is available for around $549.99.
