Samsung is quietly making progress on its upcoming Galaxy A37

A Samsung device with the model number SM-A376B was spotted in the GSMA IMEI database back in September, catching the attention of many tech lovers. Based on Samsung’s usual naming and numbering strategy, it was quickly assumed that this new model would launch as the Galaxy A37, continuing the series after the Galaxy A36. Recent reports suggest that Samsung has been making steady progress with the phone’s production and testing.

Samsung seems to be quietly pushing ahead with the development of its next Galaxy A-series phone, likely to be introduced as the Galaxy A37. Recently, firmware for the US carrier locked model of the Galaxy A37, which is part of the company’s well known Galaxy A-series lineup, was discovered on Samsung’s official server. The firmware carries the version number A376USQU0AYK3 as shown in the image below shared by Akhilesh Kumar. This discovery suggests that Samsung has advanced to the next stage of development for the Galaxy A3x series smartphone which is expected to launch in 2026.

While the listing confirms the presence of the Galaxy A37, it doesn’t provide any information about the features, design or internal hardware of the upcoming phone. At the moment, Samsung hasn’t shared any hints or official details about when the device is expected to launch. Looking back, the Galaxy A36 was launched in March and if the brand follows a similar schedule, it’s possible that the Galaxy A37 could arrive around March 2026.

Samsung launched the Galaxy A36 together with the Galaxy A56, showing how the brand continues to expand its A-series lineup in pairs. Considering that pattern, there’s a strong chance that the Galaxy A37 will launch alongside the Galaxy A57, a model that the company is reportedly developing at the moment. It’s expected that we’ll start seeing more leaks and details soon, providing us with a clearer picture of the phones’ specifications, pricing and release timeline.
