Tech Roundup: OnePlus 15 & Ace 6 Launch in China, Moto Edge 70 Revealed

OnePlus has officially launched the highly anticipated OnePlus 15 alongside the Ace 6. Both models are currently available in China and are set for a global release on November 13, with the Ace 6 being marketed internationally as the OnePlus 15R. This dual launch underscores OnePlus’s strategy of providing diverse options to meet different consumer needs while showcasing the brand’s latest advancements in smartphone technology.

The OnePlus 15 features a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor paired with up to 16GB of RAM. Its 7,300mAh battery supports ultra-fast charging at 120W wired and 50W wireless. The OnePlus Ace 6, while offering a larger 7,800mAh battery and a slightly bigger 6.82-inch display, relies on the previous-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite.

Oppo has also confirmed that its Find X9 series will launch globally in early November.

Motorola’s X70 Air, once only available in China, is now coming to the global market as the Moto Edge 70. It keeps the same specs, has a slim 6mm frame and costs €800. Nothing has stepped into the budget phone market with the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite. It has the same style as the Nothing Phone (3) and specs close to the CMF Phone 2 Pro, minus the zoom camera. Prices start at $249/€249/£249 and we’ve already started reviewing it. After testing the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max for battery life and charging, it proved to be one of the strongest contenders among current smartphones.

Xiaomi’s upcoming 17 Ultra will come with a 50MP primary camera featuring improved in-sensor zoom, approaching an 85mm focal length. Additionally, the 200MP zoom camera will see improvements. According to sources, both cameras are expected to deliver outstanding dynamic range.
