The first Kirin 9030 Pro foldable phone is coming! Huawei Pura X Max to be released in late April.

Huawei’s new wide foldable screen Pura X Max is confirmed to be officially released this month. Based on current industry leaks, this highly anticipated new product will not only be equipped with the Kirin 9030 Pro chip, but its specific release date is also locked in for late April.

It’s worth noting that while previous rumors suggested a release date of April 21st, the latest information indicates that the actual date is not that. As a core upgrade, the Pura X Max’s processor jumps from the Kirin 9020 in the Pura X to the Kirin 9030 Pro, which is currently Huawei’s most powerful mobile chip.

Besides the leap in performance, the significantly larger screen size is also a key selling point of the Pura X Max. Its inner screen reaches 7.69 inches, and its outer screen is 5.5 inches, making it the world’s first truly large-screen foldable phone.

Compared to traditional foldable screen models on the market, Huawei, through its unique 16:10 widescreen ratio, increases the internal screen display area by approximately 30% to 60% while maintaining the portability of a small fold. This design effectively solves the industry pain points of large folds being too bulky and traditional small foldable screens having too narrow a aspect ratio.

This design not only delivers superior video display quality but also provides a browsing experience similar to a mini tablet. Users can enjoy a significantly wider field of view than with ordinary foldable screens when multitasking or reading deeply.

While delivering a stunning visual impact, the Pura X Max also offers an excellent grip. It strikes a perfect balance between the immersive experience when unfolded and the portability when folded, providing a new paradigm for the evolution of foldable screen phones.

In terms of industrial design, the phone adopts a highly recognizable horizontal camera module design, with the camera and flash arranged in a straight line on the back, giving it a simple yet sophisticated look.

It is understood that the phone will offer two configuration options: a standard version and a collector’s edition. As the release date approaches, this groundbreaking wide foldable screen phone is about to unveil its final veil.
