Samsung will hold its Galaxy Unpacked event this month to officially launch its annual flagship Galaxy S26 series, including the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. As the launch date approaches, details about the Galaxy S26 series are gradually being revealed.
Today, a source leaked the official promotional poster for the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. The poster shows the Galaxy S26 Ultra in a cobalt purple color, with the right-angled metal frame and glass back panel being almost identical in color, creating a more harmonious and unified visual effect.
The phone features a quad-camera setup on the back, with the three cameras on the left side positioned on an oval camera island – one of the biggest differences between the Galaxy S26 Ultra and the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Overall, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra retains most of the design elements of its predecessor.
In terms of hardware configuration, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra features a 2K flat screen and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8E5 processor, which is expected to be named Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5 for Galaxy. Its CPU reaches a clock speed of 4.74GHz, making it Qualcomm’s most powerful mobile SoC to date. In comparison, the standard Snapdragon 8E5’s super-core CPU has a clock speed of 4.6GHz.
It’s worth mentioning that both the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ offer versions with both Exynos 2600 and Snapdragon 8E5 processors, and the Chinese versions are expected to all be equipped with the Snapdragon 8E5 overclocked version.
Regarding pricing, leaks suggest that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will be 6% more expensive than its predecessor, with the top-of-the-line version almost certain to exceed 10,000 yuan. This would be the first Ultra flagship priced over 10,000 yuan in 2026.
