The first wide-screen smartphone, the Huawei Pura X View, has become an instant hit!

The Huawei Pura X View has begun pre-sales, with a starting price of 5999 yuan. JD.com’s self-operated store shows that some versions of the Huawei Pura X View have already sold out.

Specifically, the 12GB+256GB and 12GB+1TB versions are out of stock. Although the 12GB+512GB version can still be ordered, the expected delivery time has been postponed to October, which shows its popularity in the market.

As Huawei’s first wide-screen smartphone, the Pura X View’s most distinctive feature is its 16:9.5 aspect ratio wide screen. This allows the phone to offer a wider viewing area while maintaining its candybar form factor and slim body.

The new device features a 6.39-inch OLED widescreen display with a screen-to-body ratio of 96.1% and bezels on all four sides measuring only 1.05mm. This widescreen design provides a larger display area, allowing the image to fill the entire screen whether you’re reading, watching movies, playing games, or working on the go, effectively reducing visual interference from the bezels.

In terms of core configuration, the Pura X View is equipped with the Kirin 9030S and debuts HarmonyOS 7. The rear camera setup consists of a 200MP ultra-high-resolution camera (F1.8 aperture, supporting OIS optical image stabilization), an 8MP ultra-wide-angle macro camera (F2.2 aperture), a 50MP ultra-high-resolution periscope telephoto camera (F2.6 aperture, supporting OIS optical image stabilization), and a second-generation red maple primary color camera.

For gaming, a wider screen provides more horizontal display space, especially in scenarios requiring more visual information to be observed, such as map exploration and multiplayer battles, offering a broader field of view. Huawei has also adapted the screen for mobile office use, allowing for more complete content display in scenarios such as document, spreadsheet, and file browsing.

In addition, the Huawei Pura X View supports up to two physical SIM cards and two eSIM numbers, allowing for seamless switching between dual SIM dual standby.
