Xiaomi’s top-of-the-line phone! A single image to understand the Xiaomi 18 Fold: starting at 10,999 yuan.

Fast Technology reported that the Xiaomi 18 Fold was officially unveiled at the 2026 Xiaomi Autumn Flagship New Product Launch Conference, with a starting price of 10,999 yuan.

Lei Jun, founder of Xiaomi, said that Xiaomi has been developing foldable screen phones for five or six years, during which time it has launched four large foldable models and two small foldable models.

For the past few years, Xiaomi has been pondering a question: Can it combine the advantages of small and large folding folding devices to create a new form factor product that is more moderately sized, more comfortable in proportion, and more popular with the general public? Xiaomi’s answer is the medium folding folding device.

Lei Jun revealed that the Xiaomi 18 Fold was officially launched two years ago and, after 20 months of research and development, it has become Xiaomi’s most high-end phone to date.

This phone uses a standard 2:1 aspect ratio for both its internal and external screens, a ratio that is just right. When reading, it feels as natural as turning the pages of a paper book; when watching movies, the screen can be fully displayed without cropping; and when viewing documents for office work, the content is clear at a glance without the need for zooming or adjustment.

This device features a 5.38-inch external screen and a 7.58-inch internal screen, equipped with two SuperPixel screens. It’s only 5.02mm thick on one side and weighs just 219g. In terms of interaction, it supports up to six screens, and with the Xiao Ai Inspiration Ball, complex operations can be completed with just one sentence.

In terms of hardware configuration, the Xiaomi 18 Fold is the first to be equipped with the Xuanjie O3 chip and the first to use Changxin LPDDR6 memory, with a bandwidth of up to 113.8GB/s. It has a built-in 6000mAh Xiaomi Jinshajiang battery and adopts a new communication architecture, resulting in strong signal and wide coverage. In terms of imaging, it is equipped with a full-focal-length Leica triple camera, including a 200-megapixel Leica main camera, a 50-megapixel Leica periscope telephoto lens, and a 50-megapixel Leica ultra-wide-angle lens.

Notably, Xiaomi also launched the Xiaomi 18 Fold Ceramic Special Edition. This version uses a new silicon nitride ceramic material, which is lighter and harder. It is only available in a 16GB+1TB configuration, priced at 15,999 yuan, and limited to 1,500 units worldwide.
