The highest level! OPPO Find X8 supports IP69 dust and water resistance

 
OPPO’s upcoming Find X8 series will support the highest level of waterproof capability, namely IP69 dust and water resistance .

As of now, OPPO’s A3 Pro entry-level mobile phone has taken the lead in supporting IP69 dust and water resistance. In the mobile phone industry, the flagship standard IP68 is not afraid of soaking in water, IP69 is not afraid of high-pressure hot water, and the IP66, which is relatively unfamiliar to everyone, is the highest level of dust and water resistance.

The last two digits in the IPXX rating represent the device’s dust and water resistance. The first X represents the dust resistance level, ranging from 0 to 6, with 6 being the highest. The second X represents the water resistance level. In the past, the highest level on mobile phones was 8, but recently a higher level of 9 has appeared.

The IPX9 waterproof rating means that the device can work normally under high-pressure, high-temperature water or water vapor. Specifically, it can withstand a maximum water pressure of 100 bar and a water flow temperature of 80°C.

Therefore, devices that support IP69 can provide good protection even when used in the shower, which was previously impossible with IP68.

OPPO Find X8 will also become the first flagship phone in China to support P69 dust and water resistance level.
