The industry’s brightest 8000 nits! Huawei Mate80 Pro Max debuts with an ultra-bright and clear display.

Huawei officially launched the Mate 80 series this afternoon, featuring an all-metal design and a pioneering metal light painting micro-texture process, bringing a refined and reliable tactile experience.

According to reports, the Huawei Mate80 Pro Max is the first phone to feature a Linglong screen with a peak brightness of 8000 nits, making it arguably the “brightest mobile phone screen in the industry “.

Meanwhile, this screen uses a dual-layer OLED architecture, which increases peak brightness by 80% and screen lifespan by 40%.

The new device also features a custom-designed display driver, increasing sustained high brightness time by 100%. Additionally, the screen is optimized pixel-by-pixel by Al Pixel, improving brightness uniformity by 34%.

Furthermore, the Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max features second-generation Kunlun glass, offering 20 times greater drop resistance. All models support IP68 dust and water resistance up to 6 meters and IP69 resistance to high-temperature and high-pressure water jets.
