OPPO A7 Pro Officially Announced: Long-Lasting Large Battery + Waterproof and Shock-Resistant

Fast Technology reported that OPPO announced the OPPO A7 Pro will officially go on sale on September 11th. The new product will be available in three colors: “Riding the Waves,” “Blooming Flowers,” and “Desert Brown.”

According to official information, the OPPO A7 Pro is equipped with a long-lasting, large battery, and is also waterproof and drop-resistant. There’s no end to the pursuit of durable phones, and the OPPO A series continues to explore and advance in this direction.

In August of this year, OPPO launched the A7 Pro Max. This phone features the industry’s first seven-year long-life, 10,000-ton battery, extending battery life through multiple dimensions including materials, algorithms, and chips, leading silicon-carbon anode batteries into the seven-year long-life era.

In terms of protection capabilities, the OPPO A7 Pro Max has passed nine durability tests conducted by the 514 Research Institute of the Fifth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (Beijing Oriental Measurement and Testing Institute), as well as the highest IP69K super waterproof certification, supporting stringent tests such as protection against 38 common liquids and protection against water spray at 85 degrees Celsius.

In terms of drop resistance, the OPPO A7 Pro Max features an ultra-drop-resistant diamond architecture, significantly enhancing the body’s rigidity. The airbag design effectively protects core components, and the thickened crystal shield glass ensures peace of mind even when dropped screen-down. Whether it’s a pocket falling or a series of falls down stairs, it can handle it with ease.

Moreover, the machine has passed the 1.8-meter multi-angle drop test, the 12.55 MPa bending resistance test, and the 14,000 consecutive micro-drop tests, truly achieving reliable performance in terms of resistance to drops both horizontally and vertically, inside and out.

The OPPO A7 Pro inherits the long-lasting battery and durability/drop resistance of the Pro Max version. Considering the A7 Pro Max starts at 2199 yuan, the A7 Pro’s price is likely to be under 2000 yuan, and even lower after government subsidies, making it something to look forward to.
