The iPhone 17e has already fallen below its initial price before it even went on sale

The iPhone 17e, Apple’s first new phone to be launched in 2026, has a starting price of 4499 yuan. This model precisely targets the entry-level market, providing a brand new option for Apple fans seeking value for money.

According to the official plan, the device will officially go on sale on March 11. The 256GB version will be priced at only 3999 yuan after the national subsidy, while the 512GB version will be priced at 6499 yuan and will not be eligible for the national subsidy.

However, on Pinduoduo’s 10 Billion Yuan Subsidy channel, the entire iPhone 17e series is now offering a 300 yuan discount. The 256GB version is now priced at 4199 yuan, and the 512GB version is priced at 6199 yuan, making the 512GB version even more cost-effective.

In terms of design, the new phone is available in black, white, and a new light pink color. Compared to its predecessor, the iPhone 16e, the iPhone 17e brings four significant changes to the core user experience.

First, there’s a comprehensive leap in performance, with the processor upgraded to Apple’s latest A19 chip. Second, the starting storage capacity has doubled to 256GB, and a trendy light pink color option has been added. It also introduces the practical MagSafe magnetic wireless charging function for the first time.

However, in terms of screen quality, the iPhone 17e still uses the 6.1-inch notch screen design. Its refresh rate remains at 60Hz, and it lacks the latest Aqua Island interactive experience, which may be to differentiate it from the Pro series.

In terms of the imaging system, the iPhone 17e retains the rear 48-megapixel single-lens camera setup. Thanks to the powerful computing capabilities of the A19 chip, it can achieve high-quality 2x optical zoom, while the front-facing camera remains the classic 12-megapixel sensor.
