The iQOO 16 and mini tablet will be released in September.

According to blogger Digital Chat Station, the iQOO 16 will be released in September and will be among the first batch of new phones to feature the sixth-generation Snapdragon 8 Super Supreme Edition (Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen6 Pro).

The chip is manufactured using TSMC’s 2nm process, with a CPU super core clock speed close to 5GHz, an Adreno 850 GPU, a self-developed Q5 gaming discrete graphics chip, and LPDDR6 memory.

In terms of screen performance, the new phone still uses a 2K resolution Samsung OLED screen, which is 6.85 inches in size and supports a 165Hz refresh rate.

Imaging performance is also top-notch. The engineering sample features a triple-camera setup with 50MP sensors. The main camera has a 1/1.3-inch/F1.68 super-large sensor, paired with a 1/1.95-inch/F2.65 periscope telephoto lens, and an F2.0 ultra-wide-angle lens.

It’s worth noting that in addition to the phone, the iQOO tablet will also be released at the same time, equipped with the same flagship chip, and will be the industry’s first tablet with the sixth-generation Snapdragon 8 Super Ultimate Edition.

This tablet will feature a four-sided narrow bezel design and an ultra-high refresh rate screen. The body is a unibody metal frame, and with a built-in fan, it can achieve stronger performance output, making it a gaming powerhouse.
