Huawei’s Pura X View, a wide-screen smartphone, may start at 5999 yuan:

The Huawei Pura X View, which has been teased for more than half a year and dubbed by netizens as the pinnacle of wide-screen smartphones, is confirmed to be officially launched on August 28. The price is currently unknown.

A blogger has now given a highly credible prediction of the price of the different storage versions of the device: the 12GB+256GB version will be priced at 5999 yuan, the 12GB+512GB version at 6499 yuan, and the 12GB+1TB version at 7499 yuan.

It is reported that the new phone will be equipped with the latest Kirin 9030S self-developed chip, and will also support Huawei’s signature air gesture function at the system level.

The entire consumer electronics industry is currently in an upward cycle of price increases for memory chips and CPU core components. The starting price of flagship models in the same price range has generally reached over 6,500 yuan. After seeing the predicted pricing circulating online, many netizens said that if the final launch price is consistent with the leaks, Huawei is really showing great sincerity, and they will definitely place an order to buy it as soon as possible.

In terms of hardware specifications, the Huawei Pura X View features a 6.39-inch wide display with a 16:9.5 aspect ratio and bezels on all four sides that are so narrow they are almost invisible. The device is only 6.68mm thick and weighs just 201g, so it won’t feel heavy or uncomfortable to hold with one hand for extended periods.

In terms of design, the new phone is available in four colors: Zero White, Shadow Red, Linen Gray, and Phantom Black. It adopts the same design language as the Pura X Max series. The back of the phone has a delicate grating texture, which is not easy to leave fingerprints and can also improve grip. The rear camera module adopts a long ring track design. The overall size of the phone has been comprehensively ergonomically optimized, so even users with small hands can easily hold and operate it with one hand.

In terms of other configurations, this new phone has a built-in 7000mAh super-large capacity battery, which can directly maximize the daily use battery life. The rear camera is equipped with a 50-megapixel triple camera module and also has a periscope telephoto lens. Its all-scenario photography capabilities are firmly in the top tier. It comes pre-installed with the latest Huawei HarmonyOS 7 operating system.
