The REDMI K90 Ultra packs in the largest cooling fan: the Snapdragon 8E’s performance is completely squeezed out.

The REDMI K90 Ultra will be officially released at 7 PM today. This new phone, which focuses on ultimate performance, boasts impressive hardware specifications.

This phone features a 6.83-inch 1.5K resolution flat screen with a 165Hz ultra-high refresh rate. It’s powered by a Snapdragon 8E flagship processor, and includes a dedicated D2 graphics chip and a large active cooling fan. The battery capacity reaches 8550mAh, supporting 100W fast charging. Furthermore, it boasts Bose tuning, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance, making its overall configuration quite comprehensive.

It’s clear from the overall configuration that the biggest highlight of the K90 Ultra is its built-in active cooling fan, making it the most powerful cooling device in its price range. According to official information, the REDMI K90 Ultra is equipped with a large 18.1mm fan, capable of delivering a maximum airflow of 0.42CFM, which can reduce the core temperature by 10°C in just 100 seconds.

In actual testing, the device can run at a full frame rate for 60 minutes in a large-scale 3D turn-based mobile game. Its gaming performance even surpasses some flagship models from other manufacturers equipped with the Snapdragon 8E5, demonstrating a remarkably aggressive performance release.

Lu Weibing, president of Xiaomi Group, said that the REDMI K90 Ultra Edition directly carries over the full set of gaming genes from the K90 Max, including dedicated gaming graphics D2, e-sports touch, gaming audio effects, and landscape network optimization. At the same time, it also uses the same super-powerful active air cooling solution as the Max, which can achieve the same rapid cooling performance of up to 10°C in 100 seconds, once again setting a new performance ceiling.

He emphasized that this model can achieve performance output that exceeds its class, and can even rival the industry’s top gaming flagships under heavy load scenarios. It has no obvious shortcomings in terms of heat dissipation, battery life, or game optimization, making it a formidable contender.
