The vivo Y500 Pro: a perfect combination of a 200MP main camera and the Dimensity 7400 processor.

Recently, vivo officially released its new phone, the Y500 Pro, which boasts a flagship-level 200-megapixel main camera and achieves a comprehensive leap forward in imaging, design, and user experience, earning it the title of “national mini flagship”.

Currently, the phone is available for pre-order and will officially go on sale on November 14th. The prices are quite affordable: 8GB+128GB for 1799 yuan, 8GB+256GB for 1999 yuan, 12GB+256GB for 2299 yuan, and 12GB+512GB for 2599 yuan.

One of the highlights of the vivo Y500 Pro is that it is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 mobile platform, which is positioned in the mid-to-high-end market and can provide an excellent experience in daily applications and games, powerful AI capabilities, and ultra-high energy efficiency, thus providing a solid guarantee for the high cost performance of terminal devices.

The Dimensity 7400 is manufactured using TSMC’s advanced 4nm process , ensuring high energy efficiency.

Overall specifications are moderate and well-balanced in all aspects: 8-core CPU , including 4 2.6GHz A78 performance cores and 4 2.0GHz A55 efficiency cores;

Two Mali-G615 GPU cores support the HyperEgine engine, significantly enhancing the gaming experience; the MiraVision 955 display processor supports 10-bit true color WFHD+ and mainstream HDR standards.

The APU 655 AI engine enhances the processing efficiency of AI tasks, supports new mixed-precision data, and can efficiently utilize memory bandwidth while reducing memory usage.

The Imagiq 950 ISP image processor supports 12-bit HDR and can be paired with cameras up to 200 megapixels, delivering excellent color and detail in captured images. It also supports Precise Noise Reduction (MCNR), Human Face Detection (HWFD), and Video HDR, helping users capture clear images in various lighting conditions.

Compared to its predecessor, the real-time autofocus speed for taking photos is 1.3 times faster, the image quality optimization speed is 1.5 times faster, and compared to similar products, the dynamic range of 4K HDR video recording is 50% greater.

As a new member of the Y series, the vivo Y500 Pro is equipped with a 200-megapixel flagship-level main camera, featuring a Samsung HP5 1/1.56-inch ultra-large sensor, with a main camera photosensitive area that is 1.56 times that of the vivo Y300 Pro+.

It also features vivo’s exclusive self-developed OIS super image stabilization system, which, with the support of the Dimensity 7400, can capture image stabilization information faster and react more quickly, bringing the strongest capture and night shooting experience to date for the Y series.

It also features a flagship-level telephoto algorithm that supports up to 30x zoom. With the support of cloud-based AI large model technology, it significantly improves the clarity from 10X to 30X, making distant scenery details readily accessible.

The professional color calibration of the blue factory is also worth mentioning. Based on its self-developed color algorithm, it restores the natural and original colors seen by the human eye, making the colors more accurate, the visual experience more natural, and the texture more refined.

In other aspects, the vivo Y500 Pro is also full of sincerity, making it a rare and excellent mainstream small-screen phone.

Featuring the same satin AG glass as the flagship model, a slim 7.81mm body, an ultra-narrow 1.37mm bezel, IP69 water and dust resistance, the first national standard reliability certification, and four stylish color options.

6.67-inch 1260×2800 OLED flat screen, 3840Hz, 1600 nits peak brightness.

A flagship-grade semi-solid battery with a 7000mAh capacity, resistant to cold and heat, and durable, boasting an energy density of up to 837Wh/L and 90Wh fast charging.

Based on MediaTek’s next-generation AI enhancement and network connectivity technologies, it has been specially optimized for weak network scenarios, enabling smooth network connectivity in suburbs, subways, elevators, and parking garages.
