The world’s first Dimensity 9500! The vivo X300 series is here

According to the blogger “Digital Chat Station”, the first flagship model equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip will most likely be released around October 13. The model is expected to be the vivo X300 series. The series has now opened reservations on the official website and is accompanied by a lottery event. The prizes cover the new X300 phone and peripheral equipment.

It is reported that vivo X300 is positioned as a “small-screen flagship” and is an upgraded version of the X200 Pro mini. It is benchmarked against Apple’s Pro series and focuses on performance and hand-feel experience; while the X300 Pro takes imaging as its core selling point and aims at the super-large cup flagship level.

According to the latest leaks, the vivo X300 standard version will use a 6.31-inch 1.5K 8T LTPO BOE small straight screen, support hardware-level 1nit display, and be equipped with a 50Mp LYT602 periscope telephoto macro lens, 3D ultrasonic fingerprint recognition and a high-specification USB interface.

As for the Pro version, it is expected to debut the X-axis motor 751440 (stronger vibration) and be equipped with dual UFS 4.1 (4Lane) storage solution for the first time, further improving performance and smoothness.

In terms of design, the new phone features an ultra-thick, one-piece cold-sculpted design with the narrowest four-sided edges and wide R-angles ever. The entire series’ screens are custom-made by BOE, using Q10 Plus luminescent material for higher brightness, lower energy consumption, and more natural color rendering. Officials also emphasized that the X300 series will be equipped with a Zeiss Master Color screen, delivering a “what you see is what you see” experience.

If the rumors are true, the vivo X300 series will not only be the debut of the Dimensity 9500, but will also usher in a new round of competition in the two dimensions of small-screen flagship and imaging flagship.

Editor’s comments:

The vivo X300 series’ positioning is clear: the standard version directly targets the “small-screen flagship” market, filling the gap in the Android camp in small-screen performance. The Pro version fully rivals the super-large flagship in terms of imaging and experience, especially with features such as periscope telephoto, dual UFS 4.1 storage, and ultrasonic fingerprint recognition, making it highly competitive compared to other models in its class. If the information released at the press conference is true, the X300 series is expected to become a major disruptor in the flagship market in the second half of the year.
