The world’s first Snapdragon 8E5 foldable screen phone! OPPO Find N6 development accelerated.

Blogger Digital Chat Station stated that the OPPO Find N6 is progressing rapidly, with OPPO already producing accessories and the OPPO Watch X3 smartwatch also on its way.

It is reported that the OPPO Find N6 will be unveiled in Q1 next year, and it will be the industry’s first foldable screen phone with a Snapdragon 8E5 processor.

This phone features an 8.1-inch internal screen and a 6.6-inch external screen, a battery capacity exceeding 6000mAh, a rear-facing 50MP Sony main camera and a 3x periscope telephoto lens, a multispectral sensor, and supports side fingerprint scanning, wireless charging, and full-level water resistance. This new product emphasizes a slim and lightweight design, expected to be less than 9mm thick, aiming to match the thickness of flagship smartphones.

The previous generation OPPO Find N5 broke the record for foldable screen thickness, measuring only 8.93mm when folded, making it easy to carry around. This was thanks to OPPO’s self-developed titanium alloy dome hinge, which is only 2.35mm thick, with the thinnest component reaching 0.15mm.

To achieve this breakthrough, OPPO adopted aerospace-grade titanium alloy 3D printing technology, which involves melting at an ultra-high temperature of 1700℃, using inert gas with a purity of nearly 100% to atomize liquid titanium alloy into micron-sized particles, and then precisely printing them using a 1700℃ hot laser.

This complex process allows the hinge to be 26% thinner overall while increasing its rigidity by 36%, enabling the Find N5 to perfectly combine durability with lightweight portability.

A year later, OPPO’s upcoming Find N6 will continue its slim and lightweight advantages while further enhancing its durability, making it highly anticipated.
