vivo Y500i officially goes on sale starting at 1499 yuan:

Fast Technology reported that vivo’s first new phone of 2026, the vivo Y500i, officially went on sale today, with a starting price of 1499 yuan.

The vivo Y500i supports 44W fast charging and has a built-in 7200mAh Blue Ocean Battery. The official claim is that it has a 6-year ultra-long lifespan and 1600 charge-discharge cycles, with the battery capacity still ≥80%. It also supports direct drive power supply, allowing you to play games while charging.

In terms of protection, the new device has SGS Gold Label 5-star drop and shock resistance certification, supports IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance, and the speaker can drain water and remove dust with one click.

The vivo Y500i is equipped with a second-generation Snapdragon 4 chip and features a 6.75-inch LCD flat screen with a resolution of 1570×720 and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is certified by TÜV Rheinland for low blue light and supports AI sleep mode, eye protection mode, and global DC eye protection.

The phone features a 50-megapixel rear camera, stereo dual speakers with a 400% increase in external volume, a surround antenna design, and supports AI network intelligent selection, automatically accelerating the network for food delivery and ride-hailing applications.
