Xiaomi 14 Ultra Receives TUV Rheinland Flicker Free Certification

Xiaomi has introduced its most eye-friendly smartphone yet, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, which has received the TÜV Rheinland certification for flicker-free displays. This certification signifies that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra can significantly reduce visual fatigue caused by screen flicker, making it the most eye-friendly Xiaomi phone to date.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra features a full-depth micro-curved screen with a 2K resolution. Its edges and corners are curved, giving the impression that the screen is floating in the air. This design not only eliminates the “cat ear” effect but also minimizes accidental touches, offering a curved screen experience with the practicality of a flat screen.

Previously, the Xiaomi 14 Pro utilized a similar full-depth micro-curved screen, which provides a visually seamless and smooth experience while maintaining the visual comfort of a flat screen. This design effectively ends the debate between curved and flat screens, presenting the perfect form factor.

Moreover, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform and features a quad-camera setup with a 50 million-pixel main camera. It also supports two-way satellite communication.

The launch event for the Xiaomi 14 Ultra was presented by Lu Weibing, marking his first time hosting a launch event for a Xiaomi flagship phone, which adds to the anticipation surrounding the device.
