Xiaomi Android 16 Expansion Plan To Reach More Than 2 Dozen Devices

According to Xiaomitimes, Xiaomi has recently announced a significant expansion of its Android 16 testing program, covering 27 premium flagship devices across its entire product range — including smartphones, foldables, and tablets. This strategic move reflects Xiaomi’s ambitions in building its software ecosystem and aims to offer a unified system experience to global users.

According to reports, the test plan includes all versions of the Xiaomi 15 series (including custom editions for China, Global, Europe, India, etc.), the large foldable MIX Fold 4, the compact MIX Flip, and the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro tablet. Notably, flagship models from sub-brands such as POCO F7 Ultra and Redmi K80 Pro are also part of the program, underscoring Xiaomi’s strategy of ecosystem synergy.
