Xiaomi Releases HyperOS Beta Update For Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro To Fix Bugs

Recently, a blogger on Chinese weibo informed via “Hyper OS Update” that the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro has received the Xiaomi Hyper OS Beta update, version OS2.0.200.21.VOYCNXM Beta.

This update fixes several known bugs on the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro, including display issues in some video pop-ups, occasional screen-off problems in video and gaming scenarios, rare unlocking display glitches, and font size settings not being applied. The update content is largely similar to the previous Hyper OS Beta version for the Xiaomi 15 series. The installation package is about 1.2 GB in size.

The official Hyper OS team reminds users that the features and experience of the Beta version may differ from the final release. If users encounter issues during use, they are encouraged to provide feedback through the Xiaomi community.

Public information shows that the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro was released in October 2024. It is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 mobile platform and has an 11.2-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 3200×2136 pixels.

It supports a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz and a touch sampling rate of 360Hz, with a peak brightness of 800 nits. On the back is a 50MP main camera with a 1/1.26-inch sensor, and on the front a 32MP ultra-wide-angle camera. It houses an 8850mAh battery, supports 67W wired charging, but does not support wireless charging. A USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface is included.
