Xiaomi Mi 17 Pro series appearance revealed for the first time:equipped with “Magic Back Screen”

The appearance of the Xiaomi 17 Pro series was officially announced today, and it was confirmed that it is equipped with a new “Magic Back Screen” design.

Lu Weibing said: This time it is not just a brand new back screen, the Xiaomi 17 series is a cross-generational upgrade, which is intended to bring something “new” to the mobile phone industry.

The back appearance of the new phone is indeed the same as the avatar of Xiaomi’s official Weibo yesterday. It adopts a unique back screen solution, which once caused heated discussions across the entire network, and some people even thought it was a copy of the iPhone 17 Pro.

In fact, the Xiaomi 11 Ultra had such a design back then, which made it highly recognizable.

Moreover, the Xiaomi 11 Ultra also had a back screen, which was filled with the screen of a Xiaomi bracelet, but now the effect of the Xiaomi 17 Pro series is obviously better.

The back screen of the Xiaomi 17 Pro series is more like the secondary screen on the MIX Flip small folding phone. It adopts a “full screen” solution. The entire screen is covered horizontally, and the camera area has a hole design.

As a result, the back screen area naturally requires a larger space, so a large horizontal matrix solution is adopted.

It is worth noting that Lu Weibing specifically emphasized the “Xiaomi 17 Pro series”, and it is expected that the Xiaomi 17 standard version will not have this back screen design.

The Xiaomi 17 series includes three products: Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max.

Xiaomi Mi 17: The most powerful standard version flagship in history, with all-round upgrades and more functionality without increasing the price.

Xiaomi 17 Pro: Xiaomi’s most sophisticated small-size technology imaging flagship.

Xiaomi 17 Pro Max: Xiaomi’s most powerful flagship in terms of top-notch imaging technology.

The official also directly confirmed that the Xiaomi 17 series will be the world’s first to launch the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition mobile platform.
