Xiaomi returns to the giant screen camp! REDMI’s 7-inch flagship will be unveiled at the end of the year

REDMI is testing a new phone equipped with a 7-inch 2K screen, which may be released as early as the end of this year. The appearance of this giant-screen device indicates that REDMI will re-enter the ultra-large screen smartphone market.

This phone boasts extremely high hardware specifications, featuring an advanced 3nm flagship chip and a massive 10,000mAh battery. Furthermore, top-tier features such as a metal frame, 3D ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor, and full-level water resistance will also be included, resulting in exceptional overall performance.

This is undoubtedly good news for users who love large screens. Looking back at 2016, the Xiaomi Max series pioneered large-screen smartphones with its 6.44-inch super-large screen. While this was considered a giant screen at the time, in today’s technological environment, the boundaries of screen size are constantly being broken.

With the maturity of the full-screen era, the Xiaomi Max series has gradually been discontinued. Now, REDMI is returning to the large-screen camp, not simply by piling on hardware, but by trying to find a new balance between portability and a large field of view, accommodating a larger display area with narrower bezels.

This 7-inch giant-screen device is not a scaled-down tablet; it retains the all-day communication capabilities of a smartphone. With flagship-level performance and ultra-long battery life, users no longer need to carry a separate tablet, truly achieving a multi-functional and efficient work and entertainment experience.

For heavy smartphone users, a large-screen device that can fit in their pocket will bring greater reading efficiency and a more immersive audio-visual entertainment experience. With the return of this differentiated approach, REDMI’s new phone may once again ignite the market’s enthusiasm for large-screen smartphones.
