According to blogger @智慧皮卡楚, Xiaomi Xuanjie O2 is underway and will continue to increase investment to cover all terminals, according to Fast Technology on July 19.
Combined with previous revelations, the most important part of full terminal coverage is cars, and O2 will be installed in Xiaomi cars for the first time.
For Xiaomi, the commercial use of Xuanjie can reduce its dependence on external suppliers, and expanding Xuanjie to smart cars can enhance the full-scenario computing network, thereby improving the ecological synergy and competitiveness, and further opening up new market space.
The self-developed four-in-one domain control module currently used by Xiaomi is paving the way for Xiaomi’s self-developed chips to be installed in cars.
However, at present, it will take some time for Xuanjie O2 to be unveiled, perhaps around June next year. It will continue to use TSMC’s 3nm process, and its GPU performance is expected to be greatly improved.
It is worth noting that the blogger also revealed that the Xiaomi Xuanjie 5G baseband is also in progress.
It has been reported before that Xiaomi’s new generation of self-developed baseband has made good progress and has made breakthroughs, but it is still uncertain whether Xuanjie O2 can catch up.
Some time ago, Xiaomi co-founder Lin Bin briefly posted a screenshot of the call interface and then quickly deleted it.
Many people speculated that this was testing the Xiaomi Xuanjie 5G baseband, and that some key breakthroughs should have been achieved.
