Xiaomi’s first foldable flagship, the MIX Fold 5, has been certified for network access

Fast Technology reported that a new Xiaomi phone with the model number 2608BPX34C has been registered with the network. It is expected to be the Xiaomi MIX Fold 5, which supports the independent N79 frequency band and UWB ultra-wideband technology.

According to the blogger “Digital Chat Station”, this phone is Xiaomi’s highest-end new phone this year, and may be the rumored foldable screen phone.

Based on current leaks, the Xiaomi MIX Fold 5 will adopt a wide folding design, positioning itself as a flagship folding screen product, and is expected to be the first to be equipped with Xiaomi’s new generation self-developed chip, the Xuanjie O3.

In the past, the Xiaomi MIX Fold series has used the Qualcomm Snapdragon flagship platform. According to reports, this chip is manufactured using TSMC’s 3nm process, and its overall performance is close to that of the Snapdragon 8E5, making it Xiaomi’s most powerful self-developed mobile phone chip to date.
