Sharp AQUOS R11 Released: First to Feature 50.3MP Leica Triple Camera, Priced at 6900 Yuan

Fast Technology reported that Sharp today launched its new flagship imaging phone, the AQUOS R11, in Japan, priced at 163,900 yen, which is approximately 6,900 yuan.

As a flagship model focusing on imaging capabilities, the Sharp AQUOS R11 is the first to feature a new triple-camera module jointly tuned by Leica. It includes a 50.3-megapixel Leica main camera with a 1/1.55-inch ultra-large sensor and an F/1.9 aperture. It is also equipped with a 50.3-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 38.5-megapixel high-quality telephoto lens, supporting up to 5.9x optical zoom, ensuring ample capability for shooting distant scenes in low-light environments.

The front-facing camera also boasts a 50.3-megapixel resolution with an f/2.2 aperture and supports EIS electronic image stabilization. Whether it’s everyday selfies or video calls, it can capture clear and stable footage, fully meeting the all-scenario shooting needs of ordinary users.

In terms of core hardware configuration, the Sharp AQUOS R11 is equipped with a 6.5-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2340×1080 and supports a maximum refresh rate of 240Hz, providing excellent smoothness for everyday scrolling and playing light games.

The device is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen4 processor, 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage as standard, a built-in 5100mAh battery, supports 36W wired fast charging, and has passed IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance standards, so it will not malfunction even if splashed or submerged in water for a short time.

It’s worth mentioning that the Sharp AQUOS R11
has an LED light strip embedded in the rear camera module area. When the phone receives a call or various app notifications, the light strip will light up with different custom lighting effects, which can serve as a special ambient light for notifications.
