Redmi K80 series will start preheating next week, and the battle for the flagship goalkeeper that everyone loves to see is about to reach its climax.

From Wang Teng’s live broadcast a few days ago, we learned that only two models of the Redmi K80 series will be released this time, and the entry-level K80E will be cancelled.

However, this model has been continued in the Turbo series. According to the latest news, Redmi Turbo 4 will be released in the K80 series next month.

The Turbo series is Redmi’s new product line this year, replacing the Turbo models in the previous Note series. It provides outstanding performance at a price of RMB 1,000. The first product is the Redmi Turbo 3, which brings the third-generation Snapdragon 8s processor to a price of RMB 1,000, and is also equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera and a 5000mAh battery + 90W fast charging combination.

In fact, according to previous reports, Redmi Turbo 4 was originally scheduled to be released early next year. The reason for its early release was, on the one hand, to cope with the increasingly fierce market competition, and on the other hand, to take advantage of the Dimensity 8400 processor that it was first equipped with.

It is reported that the Dimensity 8400 adopts TSMC’s 4nm process and has a 1+3+4 Cortex-A725 full-core architecture design. The CPU frequencies are set to 3.xGHz, 3.xGHz and 2.xGHz respectively, and it is equipped with the same GPU IP as the Dimensity 9400. Compared with the previous Cortex-A720, the CPU architecture has a 35% performance efficiency improvement and a 25% energy efficiency improvement.

This configuration allows the Dimensity 8400 to achieve a theoretical running score of 170-180W, which exceeds the 160W score of the Snapdragon 8 Gen2. It is comparable to the Snapdragon 8sGen3 used in many mid-range phones this year, but slightly inferior to the 2 million running score of the Snapdragon 8Gen3. However, its performance is still being continuously optimized and improved, and it may perform even better in the future.

In other configurations, Redmi Turbo 4 will use a 6.67-inch CSOT 1.5K straight screen, supporting 120Hz refresh rate and 480Hz touch sampling rate.

In terms of imaging, the Redmi Turbo 4 will be equipped with a rear dual camera, including a 50-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. It focuses on practicality, and the main camera will also support OIS optical image stabilization.

In addition, Redmi Turbo 4 will be equipped with a 6500mAh large battery, support 90W wired fast charging, and other configurations such as infrared remote control, full-function NFC, X-axis linear motor will not be missing, and it will be pre-installed with Surge OS 2.0.

The price is more interesting. The previous Redmi Turbo 3 was priced at 1,999 yuan, but now the price of K70 on e-commerce platforms has dropped to around 2,000 yuan, and the K70 Extreme Edition is only around 2,200 yuan, and it can even be bought for 1,999 during Double Eleven.

If the Redmi Turbo 4 still starts at 1999 yuan, it will obviously not be attractive…so there are reports that the price of this phone will be 1799 yuan or even lower. What do you think is the most appropriate price?
