Apple’s first self-developed baseband chip Apple C1 is launched! iPhone 16e is first released

Apple directly launched the iPhone 16e on its official website, which is the “iPhone SE4” that everyone is looking forward to.
The new phone uses a notch screen solution, is equipped with a 48-megapixel single camera, and is equipped with A18 at its core. It can be regarded as a youth version of the iPhone 16.

It should be noted that one of the biggest highlights of this phone is that it is the first to launch Apple’s self-developed baseband chip, Apple C1.
Apple claims it has faster and more stable 5G speeds while consuming less power, and Apple emphasizes that it is “the most energy-efficient modem yet for iPhone.”
Thanks to this, the iPhone 16e has achieved super long battery life, with video playback time of up to 26 hours, which is 4 hours more than the iPhone 16. It is the strongest performance of all Apple’s 6.1-inch mobile phones ever.
Unfortunately, Apple has not yet announced the detailed parameters of this baseband chip, and we will have to wait for further announcements.
This is a milestone for Apple. If the performance is good, the entire iPhone series will quickly switch to self-developed baseband in the future, completely getting rid of Qualcomm’s restrictions.
