Apple has maintained a release rhythm of four models a year for many years. At the beginning, it was the standard version, mini, Pro and Pro Max. Later, Apple replaced the mini model with the Plus model. Now the Air model will replace the Plus. Apple’s product layout has always remained highly consistent.

However, the latest news shows that Apple’s product line will undergo major changes in the future. It is reported that Apple will launch 6 iPhones in 2027, which will be the year with the largest number of mobile phones released in Apple’s history.

Specifically, Apple will release the iPhone 18 and iPhone 18e in the spring of 2027, followed by four iPhones in the fall, including the iPhone 19 Air, iPhone 19 Pro, iPhone 19 Pro Max and iPhone 19 Fold.

It is worth noting that 2027 is the 20th anniversary of the release of the iPhone. Previously, there were reports that the 20th anniversary edition of the iPhone will adopt a true full-screen form factor, but this statement was denied by display industry analyst Ross Young.

Ross Young believes that the iPhone 19 series will continue the small Smart Island design of the 18 Pro, and its front hole shape is similar to that of Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro. He believes that Apple will not be able to achieve a technological breakthrough in a true full-screen display until at least 2030, which is three years later than previously expected.
