Detailed specifications for the iPhone 18 Pro/iPhone Fold have been released
According to Fast Technology on January 19, starting with the iPhone 18 series, Apple will break with its long-standing tradition of releasing new products all in the fall and instead adopt a strategy of launching new iPhones twice a year.
Specifically, Apple will launch three major models in the fall of 2026: the iPhone 18 Pro, the iPhone 18 Pro Max, and the highly anticipated foldable iPhone Fold, while the base models iPhone 18 and iPhone 18e are scheduled to launch in the spring of 2027.
Now, analysts have provided detailed specifications for the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and iPhone Fold in their reports.

The main difference between the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max is the screen size; the former is 6.3 inches and the latter is 6.9 inches. Both models come standard with an A20 Pro chip, 12GB of RAM, an 18MP front camera, a 48MP triple camera setup, and support Face ID.
The iPhone Fold has a 7.8-inch internal screen with a UDC full-screen design and an 18-megapixel under-display front camera. The external screen is 5.3 inches and also has an 18-megapixel front camera in a single punch-hole design. It features two 48-megapixel rear cameras, uses the A20 Pro chip, has 12GB of RAM, supports side fingerprint recognition, but does not have Face ID.
It’s worth mentioning that both the iPhone 18 Pro series and the iPhone Fold will be equipped with Apple’s self-developed baseband chip C2, abandoning Qualcomm’s solution.
