Eliminate the hyperbolic screen! OnePlus 13 front rendering released

blogger Digital Chat Station drew a front photo of OnePlus 13. This new product no longer uses a dual-curved screen, but an equal-depth micro-curved screen.

As we all know, the curved screen has a more integrated visual feel and can effectively improve the grip feel problem caused by the thickness of the body, making it fit the palm better and more comfortable and natural when held.

However, curved screens have always faced many challenges. Among them, limitations such as accidental touches on the edges, color difference at the screen edges, and brightness adjustment will affect the user experience. Therefore, the popularity of large-curvature screens has shown a gradual cooling trend in recent years.

In comparison, the equi-depth micro-curved screen has the advantages of both a straight screen and a curved screen. In terms of shape, it is closer to a straight screen. Therefore, it can be comparable to a straight screen in terms of edge anti-mistouch optimization and display effect consistency.

In terms of hand feel, the iso-depth micro-curved screen is more similar to a curved screen. The streamlined edges not only give it visual beauty, but also significantly improve the grip feel compared to a straight screen.

The OnePlus 13, which was launched in Q4 this year, adopted the equi-depth micro-curved screen solution. Not only OnePlus, but also flagships such as OPPO Find X8 Pro and Find X8 Ultra have also fully adopted the equi-depth micro-curved screen, which is the most perfect screen form to date.

In terms of core configuration, OnePlus 13 uses a 2K BOE screen, is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen4 platform, comes standard with a glacier battery with a battery capacity of more than 6000mAh, and comes pre-installed with ColorOS 15 system.
