First release of Android 16: Google Pixel 10 series officially announced
Google announced that it will hold a new product launch conference on August 20 to officially release the annual flagship Google Pixel 10 series.
It is reported that this conference will launch Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, the foldable screen Pixel 10 Pro Fold and a smart watch Pixel Watch 4.
The new flagship will be the first to be equipped with the new Android 16 system. The biggest highlight of this system is AI. This time Google has deeply integrated its own AI model Gemini into Android 16, which is fundamentally different from traditional voice assistants.
It is reported that Gemini has broken away from the passive response mode of traditional voice assistants and has been upgraded to a system intelligent entity that can understand contextual information and actively assist users in completing tasks. Google has expanded Gemini to watches, car systems, TVs and XR platforms.
In addition, Google’s Pixel 10 series is the first to be equipped with its self-developed Tensor G5 chip. Unlike previous Tensor chips, Google’s Tensor G5 is manufactured by TSMC. However, Google does not yet have the ability to develop its own 5G baseband, so the baseband chip is provided by Samsung.
