First to feature the Dimensity 8500! REDMI Turbo 5 certified: Supports 100W flash charging

The REDMI Turbo 5 has recently obtained 3C certification in China, meaning it’s not far from its market launch.

Certification information shows that the REDMI Turbo 5 supports 100W wired flash charging, a specification that has now become a mainstream standard feature for Xiaomi devices.

According to leaks, the REDMI Turbo 5 will be released in December or January, and will be the world’s first to feature the Dimensity 8500 processor.

The chip is manufactured using TSMC’s 4nm process and features an 8-core A725 architecture. The current prototype test shows that the super core frequency is 3.4GHz. It integrates a Mali-G720 GPU with a frequency of 1.5GHz±.

Its AnTuTu benchmark score reaches 2.2 million ±, and its GPU theoretical performance exceeds that of the Snapdragon 8 Gen3/8s Gen4, meaning that mid-range models can also have flagship-level game graphics and a smooth experience.

In addition, the Dimensity 8500’s ISP and peripherals have also been upgraded, which can improve other aspects of the user experience of the corresponding terminal.

In addition to performance upgrades, the Turbo 5 will also feature a metal frame and large rounded corners, significantly improving its premium feel and bringing it in line with the Pro version.

The screen remains a 6.6-inch 1.5K display, and the overall design is minimalist, with a dual-camera setup expected to be retained.
