Galaxy A73 Receives One UI 6.0 Update

Samsung’s latest software update, One UI 6.0 is rapidly expanding its reach across various devices, with the Galaxy A73 being the latest recipient. This update follows the recent rollout to the Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold, Z Flip, S23 FE, Tab S9 series, and the Galaxy A54.

As of now, the One UI 6.0 update, which includes Android 14, is available for the Galaxy A73 in Iran, as reported by Toranji, with firmware version A736BXXU5DWK2. Additionally, it has been confirmed that the update is also available in Malaysia.

Galaxy A73 users in these regions can access the update through the Settings app on their devices by navigating to “Software update” and selecting “Download and Install.” Alternatively, users can opt for a manual installation by downloading the official firmware files from Samsung’s firmware database.

One UI 6.0 is a substantial update, bringing a host of new features and improvements. A notable visual change is the redesigned quick toggle area, complemented by a new system-wide font. Samsung has also enhanced the mobile photography and editing experiences, updating many of its apps with new features and even slight name changes.

However, it remains to be seen whether all the new features introduced in One UI 6.0 for the Galaxy S23 series will be available on lower-end models like the Galaxy A73. There might be some features that are either missing or not fully implemented in these devices.

This update marks a significant step in Samsung’s commitment to providing consistent and feature-rich experiences across its device range, from flagship models to more budget-friendly options like the Galaxy A73. The rollout of One UI 6.0 to these devices not only enhances their functionality but also ensures that users of Samsung’s diverse product lineup have access to the latest software advancements.
