Honor Magic 6 And Xiaomi 14 Ultra RSR Appear in China’s MIIT Listing Both Support Satellite Communication

In a thrilling development for smartphone enthusiasts, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra and Honor Magic 6 RSR have simultaneously entered the network on the same day, marking the commencement of a new chapter in the flagship imaging smartphone battle. Both devices are recognized as 5G satellite mobile terminals, indicating a significant leap forward in mobile communication technology.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra, with its model number 24031PN0DC, has been officially listed as a satellite mobile terminal, supporting the TianTong satellite communication standard. This move signifies Xiaomi’s commitment to enhancing connectivity and ensuring communication capabilities in even the most remote areas.

On the other hand, the Honor Magic 6 RSR, bearing the model number BVL-AN20, also emerges as a satellite mobile terminal with support for the same TianTong satellite communication standard. This inclusion underscores Honor’s ambition to compete at the highest levels of smartphone technology and innovation.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is rumored to feature a front-facing design with a full-depth micro-curved screen, boasting a 2K resolution and a centrally placed punch-hole camera. It’s expected to be powered by the third-generation Snapdragon 8 mobile platform and feature a 6.7-inch QHD+ 120Hz LTPO AMOLED display, a large battery exceeding 5000mAh, and a luxurious leather body.

The imaging capabilities are set for a monumental upgrade with the main CMOS sensor being the Sony LYT900, supporting OIS optical image stabilization and a continuous variable aperture, alongside three auxiliary IMX858 sensors for telephoto, periscope telephoto, and ultra-wide-angle shots.

The Honor Magic 6 RSR, in collaboration with Porsche Design, is poised to be Honor’s first straight-screen flagship, equipped with the latest OV50K sensor, which boasts a 1-inch large base, rivaling Sony’s 1-inch LYT900 sensor. This device will also feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3 mobile platform and be powered by Honor’s Qinghai Lake battery, promising exceptional performance and endurance.

As these two imaging powerhouses prepare to enter the market, the anticipation among tech enthusiasts and consumers is palpable. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra and Honor Magic 6 RSR not only highlight the brands’ prowess in satellite communication technology but also set new benchmarks in smartphone imaging capabilities, promising an exciting showdown in the flagship segment.
