Honor Magic V5 first sale: 8 world records, starting from 8999 yuan

Honor’s most powerful folding screen flagship in history – Honor Magic V5 will be officially launched at 10:08 today, with a starting price of 8,999 yuan. It is the world’s lightest and thinnest folding flagship.

It is understood that Honor Magic V5 has won 8 world records, including 0.18mm ultra-thin high-silicon battery cell chip, 0.014mm ultra-fine woven aerospace fiber, 0.003mm ultra-high assembly adaptation accuracy, 8.8mm thinnest folding phone, 217g lightest folding phone, 25% highest silicon content battery, 6100mAh largest folding battery, and 2300MPa strongest hinge steel.

The new phone’s external screen measures 6.43 inches, while the internal screen measures 7.95 inches. Both the internal and external screens support a 120Hz refresh rate, 5000 nits peak brightness, and 4320Hz ultra-high frequency PWM dimming.

In terms of core configuration, 
the Honor Magic V5 is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition flagship chip, a rear 50-megapixel eagle-eye main camera + 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle + 64-megapixel periscope telephoto triple camera, and a new generation of Qinghai Lake battery. The top configuration has a large capacity of 6100mAh, which is the largest foldable battery to date.

In other aspects, the new phone has GMS Google mobile services, the most 5G frequency bands for folding screens, full version of Beidou satellite communications, built-in the most powerful YOYO intelligent body, and is the only one in the industry that supports mutual transmission with Apple iOS and Huawei Hongmeng systems.
